Ever since I came back from Ryan’s wedding in Charleston SC, I’ve been obsessed with either finding or trying to make classic southern sweet tea. Sounds simple enough, but for some reason, and after 8 pitchers, I can’t seem to replicate that sweet sweet taste. I tried brown sugar, white sugar, honey, more brewing, less brewing, more tea bags (damn it’s too bitter), less tea bags (now it just tastes like sweet water). Ugh. Nothing seemed to work. And none of the bodegas or delis in NYC seem to carry any iced tea that’s neither flavored nor Asian.

Until I found THIS baby at Trader Joe’s. I’m so happy right now, it’s embarrassing…
